DESCRIPTION

Race Director – Kenneth K. Takeuchi

40+ years directing local races, including Fresno’s largest race, The Big Fresno Fair Cross-City Race from its debut until 1999.

In 1986 established the Valley Runner of the Year Series. As the Series Director, maintains the schedule and points standing.

Participant in numerous marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and ultra-marathons.

Available directly thru website (www.proracegroup.com) event – no searching, no advertisements, no spam

Signup Fees (example): $2.50 Signup Fee when provided without scoring services – $2.00 for Service; $.50 commission to STY

Service fee generally paid by registrant or can be entirely paid by or split with sponsor

Includes setup of event, entry fees and signup fees

Data files ready to use – emailed as Excel file or CSV text file

On-Line services can be provided without additional expense to sponsor

Sponsor defines data fields and fee deadlines; approves setup of event, entry fees and signup fees

Payment made payable to organization (not PRG or Sally Yemoto) with reconciliation and statistics provided by STY

Equipment

Finish time display clock (so participant can see his/her time) at the finish line

Chute setup for an orderly finish must be provided by event sponsor

Timing equipment: TimeMachine with primary, select, and backup timing used to verify/maintain accuracy in assigning

times to participants.

Times are recorded for each participant with the timing (and backup) units.

Select timing is used to verify/maintain accuracy in timing

Laptop computers, printers, generator, and document copy machines when needed

Barcode readers input the race numbers and names accurately.
